For PMs, most of the engine trainers with whom I am in contact have registered there. For files, the new generation uses skype daily.

A general public area is no longer the right tool to discuss learning. Too much knowledge gap with their day testers. People aren't ready to believe the Next Big Thing in Computer Chess has been around for months/years. They already don't believe that a SF derivative can be better, even less that an existing technology can add 100 or 200 elo to SF...

We're going to have a lot of fun when the next tests announce +100 or +200 elo on SF15.2 or SF16 loool

01.08.2023 : added new curves about "first novelty".

First novelty : corresponds to the first move not yet played in the previous games. In general, when the engines learn an opening, they test new moves later and later in the game. By comparing with the average number of moves per game, we know if an opening has been well learned or not, if the engines still need training or not, etc.
