Seems to work on this end. Maybe a browser restart? If not, I dunno.

After enough fidgeting (opening/closing/quitting/running, with mozilla/firefox) and clearing cookies, well, now it works. I'm not sure what the problem was.

BTW, I am working on a sweet new, top secret feature, reverse-engineered from a number of fashionable, commercial chess programs, for this widget. Watch this space...

Alright, the new awesomeness is nearly ready. Once I've done a couple more days of testing, I'll unleash this on OpenChess and we'll probably have a few days of mayhem. It's working pretty well here, though...

Looking very nice...do members get to vote or have a say on the board colour?

Sorry, I was unclear. The feature isn't the board. It's the live variations.

I know the point is the live variations, but it's hard not to comment in the improved board colors and piece set
Hopefully it'll have a scrollbar on the right (as with our current system) so the board is visible at all times (on the sample picture I scroll down and the board disappears from view at the top).
Good job!

The intention was to leave everything as-is, but turn on the variations, which were a pain in the ass to implement, thank you very much.

If people hate the current "sachlich blau" that much, we can change it.

Live variations support is now live. You can toggle them on and off with the '-' key.
I am confident that there are some lingering bugs, I just haven't found them yet. Please let me know if you run into trouble.
Thanks

Great! I haven't found any problems.

Pressing the '-' key doesn't do anything around here.

Okay, at this post:

I posted the game using pgnlast tags, however, I see the penultimate move highlighted (and position shown) instead of the last move.
