It looks Houdini is still king of bullets. Am still tweaking the time management settings which is now better than the default against Rybka. After 268 games, +52/=184/-32 in favor of Houdini. Final results will be posted later.

Thanks for the tests.
I get the same for Houdini +33 elo vs. Ivanhoe
5/3 TC.

Best,
Gerold.

P.S. Still hoping and waiting for the next one that can beat Houdini.

I did another quick 100 games using default settings except time buffer. IvanHoe time loses is more pronounced in GUIs like Arena and ChessGUI, and it's the reason am trying to find a balance.

Code: Select all

IvanHoe vs Houdini, R0010 1+0

1 Houdini 1.03a x64 POPCNT 4_CP +24/=62/-14 55.00% 55.0/100
2 IvanHoe 9.52b x64 +14/=62/-24 45.00% 45.0/100
† 50 Positions (test suite)
† EGTB Off
† Ponder Off
† 128 MB Hash
† Pawn Hash 16 MB
† Phenom II 940
† 4 Cores
† 1+0 Time Control

IvanHoe:
BufferTime 3000 (3 seconds)
AllowInstantMoveFromHash true
