Tournament of new versions of chess engines conducted in GUI - Arena. The winner was the Contact 11 engine, in second place the Artemis 9TR Amazon and in third place the Stockfish dev-20250228 engine. Results of further tests coming soon.

The Amateur Chess Engine League's Group E-01 has finished. Pedantic 2.1.0, Rebel-EAS 2.0, and RukChess 4.0.1 secured the first three places and have qualified for the TOP-64. The tournament utilized a 7-round Swiss system and was played within the Aquarium GUI.

Another group of the Amateur Chess Engine League has ended. The engines that took places 1-4: Sapling 1.2.1, Astra 5.0, Quanticade Chimera 1.2 and Saxton 1.0.0 have advanced to group E-02.

Vault 0.4.1 JA wins Amateur League, group E-04 season 02/2025 (12-13.03.2025)

Amateur Chess Engine League - Group E-04 has ended. The Vault 0.4.1 JA engine won with a 100% score. The engines that took 2nd-4th places also advanced to a higher group: Yakka 1.2, KnightX 4.2 and Shallow v5. The games are ongoing, results will be on the website soon.

Schoenemann 0.4.0 wins Amateur League group E-05 season 02/2025 (13-14.03.2025)

The 5th group of the Amateur Chess Engine League has already finished. The Schoenemann 0.4.0 engine achieved excellent results, winning all games. Apart from it, the engines that took places from 2nd to 4th also advanced to a higher group: Cheers 1.0.0, Cyrano 0.6b17 JA, and Thrawn 2.1 JA. More results soon.

Obsidian dev-15.04 wins Middle Class Engines Tournament (Tests by Jörn Gronemann, 2025.03.12)

Another Middle Class Engines Tournament - 1100 games played. The Obsidian dev-15.04 SE engine won with a clear advantage. In second place was the PlentyChess 4.0.1 engine and in third place was Alexandria 8.0.0 JA. More test results coming soon.
