Re: SedatChess
Once more (for anyone missed... ),
Here are one of my GREAT sayings:
“To see a win (if playing under optimal conditions) by Top engines:
It's like looking for a needle in a haystack, and what's point of
Using BIG umbrella, if almost no any 'drop rain' on the horizon.”
In other words (about my above saying),
I have to be a' madman' to use such cond. where almost all games
Will be ended as DRAWS, sorry I have more important things to do!
One thing more,
My used tournament hardware is NOT so cheap! and is this all ?)
Not of course, e.g consumed electricity, my spent efforts have
To play a significant fun role about organizing all these tourneys!
Yes, under Bullet cond. may appear more 'blunders', but in same
Time more 'fun' may appear..besides Bullet NNUE can be counted
Slow time control as in past, at least my strength tests indicated so!
By the way,
Everyone is free to run better book tours, no problem from my side..
What do you wait? SCCT? Yes..I'm good at my job but not as perfect!
“The pessimist focuses on bad games; the optimist on good games;
But all greatest games of all-time have been played by optimists.”
“If you don't know past, it's not the end, learn from it, but if not:
You are a simple pawn that you don't know it's a piece of chess.”
Greetings

Re: SedatChess
Hello Chess Friends,
Well, just another new CS, as far as
Possible with 3800+ Elo Participants!
And ones... which are LARGE in size!
All are very new vers. exc. Kookaburra and HypnoS++,
In short, both engines are entered just for comparing..
Regarding there is so much Elo improvement or not ?!
Btw, Artemis 12 TR is still using old-dated NN files!
So, it is expecting not much better points than older
Artemis eng releases! Anyhow I think not so important,
At least for my side is one of most important is FUN...
Note also that
SF-X 130425 is released by Vasid Chouhan (author of DON books)!
And for right now,
Kookaburra is the Current Leader - My Congratulations to DorsZ!
Be aware too please,
Each engine will play min. 1040 games, so we're just in beginning..
In other words, it is hard to predict..since 160+ games may lead to
Wrong conclusions...
Conditions:
2x Epyc 7B12, CuteChess 1.2.0, 1 Core, Ponder OFF, 30s+0.5s, 64 Hash, 4-MEN
HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL )
Best,
Sedat

Breaking News (15.04.2025):
Well, here another new series of 3800+ tours... congrats and many thanks!
This time Kookaburra said the 'last' word! Despite on many newer versions,
Kookaburra is Kookaburra, proved not once, many times to be one of best!
On other hand, it seems that since a long time no much Elo improvements!
But if not today...why not tomorrow? all in Eng programmers hands, right ?
Btw, frankly I was not planing to organize 3800+ tour at these days..but due
To respect to Mr. Vasid Chouhan (who is author of SF-X)..I realized to run it..
Anyhow no any regret and it's al right...but next similar future tour is planing
To be organized after several months..since nowadays I have no much free
Time for chess...Ok dear friends that's all for now..take care and stay safe )
LXIII's Champion: Kookaburra - My Congratulations to DorsZ, SF team too!
