Lichess Ranking 2025 - based mainly on latest months!

Note also that current ranking is calculated by Chessbase,
Min 3000 Elo shared but normally the database includes
Close to 500+ players (Bots), so for less Elo error margin,
As far possible min 1800-2000 games (per player) shared..

In same time that means,
I hope to create new books, which will be tuned to
Prefer Lichess's high-rated participants openings!
And later I will test them in the planning new CS..

And I wonder much about
What will be situation, influence under SCCT cond. ?
Via online...too many factors, diff. hardware speeds..
Is this all? not of course, e.g after a quick checking:
Some gained high points via cherry picking.. hehe ))
Otherwise...it will be as shocking news..if all fair ;)

In other words,
SCCT Online CS will try to filter regarding which are best ?!

Current Lichess Leader: IA_Horus - Congratulations!

Thanks too )

By the way,
Here are ind. draw stats of Top 13 ranks:

And it seems some (with very low draw perc.)
Are great cherry pickers!
No any other explanation of that, right ?))

Pardon, there are some ways e.g using so much
Critical weak opening lines.. or also very low draws
May appear in case of using weak engines too !!
But just in case.. then I hardly doubt that
The cherry pickers will be in the Top ranks...

Another interesting note about cherry pickers,
Some of them never play vs strong Bot players:
E.g theirs opponents are usually low-rated...

Code: Select all

Rank Player Draws
1	IA_Horus 11%
2	Spiritofthenewyear 19%
3	caissa-ai 68%
4	LeelaMultiPoss 37%
5	compchess60 90%
6	Blauer-Rausch 93%
7	ReinforcementTrial 99%
8	Intron014 99%
9	TorBot_v2 92%
10	Occhessadvanced 92%
11	M-Z_Bot 88%
12	Africaata 90%
13	ResoluteBot 83%

Yeah, many games can be useful but before,
You need to check, to run testings etc.
Otherwise, not always as it seems...
Especially if played by cherry pickers..

Btw, please stay tuned.. very soon
1st tour standing is coming...so later
You can realize which are better..

Breaking News - 03.03.2025:
1st of all, many thanks to all Online players otherwise without you, ongoing
Tour would not exist..On other hand, under current conditions, it's hard, due
All players are small (up to 3 MB in size), besides, all played on same CPU
Speed..moreover, other important issue: no 'cherry picking' (as Online play)
And here..as usually the best / the strongest participants are on Top, right ?
Actually as 'cherry picking system' is played on same PCs too e.g as proof,
You can check the tests, organized by the Troll/s.. e.g they never prefer vs
Serious players or under fair cond. such as what they do: Private vs Public..
Plus using giant (in size) vs small ones etc. and if still not so clear, Come to
Rea Arena..just do not be afraid..let's see under better, more fair cond. how
You're good and stop playing just amateur unfair games, time to be a PRO!
Btw, for the moment, Africaata's points are great..with clear margin ahead!
And soon more book entries are expecting to be in... so please stay tuned..

Current Book Leader: Africaata - My Congratulations to Jordi R. Centelles!
Note: Africaata is created by Me but all credits are going to Mr. Centelles

UPDATE

As you may noticed too,
I realized to use Raubfish SC, which is close to 3750 Elo
Normally the plan was to use various 3700+ Elo engines...
But just in case, then many entries may suffer..due non of
3700+ engines have same strength, even after running new
40.000+ strength games, theirs diff. were about 5 (five)
Elo points..yes, they are very close in strength, but not
Identical..you know, sometimes even 1 Elo can play serious
Role over results..where via Raubfish (same engine for all):
There is no disadvantage, at least in case of determining..
Agreed also that Raubfish is not strongest nowadays, but
Still very powerful..plus less drawish than all, which are
Top NNUE chess engines of 3700+ Elo

Btw,
As next update a lot of entries , plus Perfect 16 wins will be
Entered too..yes so far, the oldest one, where its lines are
Belonging to 2008-2009 years, and even if it will be last rank,
Not important at all...but what's as one of important here ?
FUN !)

Breaking News - 03.03.2025:
Via 2nd update (for today), the standings are changed..where for right now
Skynet's Top book takes the lead... and with impressive points! By the way,
So far, exc. Kayra and Skynet, all rest entries are my work tuned to prefer
Mainly Lichess players. plus as alternative, I've tested many books as well..
Note also some latest entries are GMs books so we can't expect more but in
Human book tours, they proved to be one of best..ok that's all for now..exc.
In next days, I hope to create more books which will be based on Playchess..
Meanwhile, for my older postings about current competition on OpenChess

Current Book Leader: Skynet 180724 - Congratulations to SkyNet (Alex)!
