UPDATE 2

SCCT NON-NNUE (MP + Blitz) Antalya 2025:
Stocksish 16 wins.. Congrats to SF team!

Yes, under more serious cond. as I expected,
Cfish 030820 is performing much better..but
This time Stockfish 16 is said the last word !!

Note also that,
I was planning to run more games (to reduce error-margin),
But due no much free CPU time, I realized here to be ended!
Moreover, SF16 won with clear points ahead..anyhow let's say
If 1000 games (per player) in case.. no one can predict, right?
And who knows? maybe then Cfish will be 10-times Champ ?)

Meanwhile,
Please stay tuned again..new NNUE CS is coming: up to 3MB !
Yes...the tour cond. will be very hard.. as we know also that,
Via less assistance, not easy to gain higher points..such as
- Climbing to Everest mountain's highest point: 8,848 meters!

And let's see, which 'pocket master' will manage to do that ?!)

Breaking News (11.02.2025):
Well, this time as participants only the small ones in sizes preferred e.g:
Up to 3 MB (uncompressed) plus as alternative, some NON-NN engines
Are played too..and these used conditions are much fair? not of course,
But no way regarding all engines, books etc to be played in perfect way..
If I am missing something..just let Me know please...you know, learning
Is never late..yes, I am much experienced in this area..but anyhow, I am
Still trying to learn/improve my work in better way..and I assume you too
On other hand, what is clear, via this tourney? Obsidian is just great one!
As we see, it performed over than 3750 Elo, just imagine as 3 MB and in
Same time minus plus 100-300 Elo stronger than many of his opponents!
Btw once more: playing under these hard cond is something like climbing
To Everest mountain, because usually via huge assistance..is easier, right?
Ok, that's all for now, congratulations and many thanks for your interest..

The Champion (up to 3 MB): Obsidian - Congrats to Gabriele Lombardo!

Breaking News - 12.02.2025:
The current competition ended, congrats and many thanks to all participants!
On other hand, sorry that I didn't work more over current book championship,
But as reason, due to no much free CPU time, sometimes not all in my hands,
Anyhow I think that current stats can be used as good reference about which
Are strongest...especially the tour indicates which are strong in Eng openings
In same time which are strong in Human openings, otherwise without this tour,
We'd not know, right? Ok..dear chess friends that's all for now, see you later )

LXIX's Engine Book Champion: DON - Congratulations to Vasid Chouhan!
Where GM Opening Book Champ: Leko - Congratulations to Peter Leko!

Hello there,

As usually, I am very pleased to announce that:
Another New CS is going to be started very soon!

Note that in the planning tour,
Only 1 (one) engine by same author will be allowed
And in case of several new eng releases by same author:
Candidate tours will be for determining strongest one!
And each candidate entry will be played min 500 games
If equal points, then there will be tie break matches too

By the way, here is 1st candidate tournament results,
Where as players are only released by Mr. Anton Ces:

Code: Select all

Rank Name Elo +/- Games Score Draw
   1 KillfishPB 090225 23 23 91 53.3% 89.0%
   2 SpecTral v3 16 24 89 52.2% 88.8%
   3 Dark SisTer v3 0 22 88 50.0% 90.9%
   4 StockfishPB 050225 -4 20 91 49.5% 92.3%
   5 TROY 032025 -4 24 86 49.4% 89.5%
   6 DarkSisTer 9.0 -31 24 89 45.5% 88.8%

267 of 1500 games finished.
Good luck to all )

About Troubadour 1.5a's amazing performance,
Frankly no BIG surprise, since is LVIII Champion!

UPDATE 3

Here are the 1st official tourney results,
Where Troubadour is the current Leader!
My congratulation to Mr. Eduard Nemeth
Where StockfishPB engine is just behind..
Well-done to Mr. Anton Ces as well, due
To be on Top is not so easy as it looks !!
And on 3rd place, for right now CorChess!
Is this all luck..? not of course...because
Under SCCT cond. 'luck' plays less role...
if still not so clear, because usually here
Strength, strength.. says the 'last' word!

On the other hand, there is BIG fight...and
Let's see which monster will be next Champ?!

Meanwhile, unfortunately
It seems the latest SOLIDOR AI is weaker than all,
Really strange..e.g the older SOLIDOR is better..!
Note: SOLIDOR AI is Modern..AVX2 vers is crashed ..
Note also I downloaded it from MEGA site, which
Available/shared on Anton Ces's Telegram page
