Breaking News - 19.01.2025:
A BIG update..almost 30 (thirty) books are entered..and sorry that this time all
Entries are not in blue color but here I assume that you'd give understanding )
Well a similar great record never seen before: we've 2 (two) Champions DON
Plus Vidit where both book players are from India, you know I'm just a creator,
Organizer, no more, no less! yes nowadays a TREND: the Champs from India!
Btw, just a few days ago, I expected / mentioned about it on OpenChess .. so
No any BIG surprise..what I can say more: some books need (NN) assistance
For better game-play...some just opposite,..but you'll never know until you try!
At least, via current tour, we have more data.. otherwise we would not know e.g
Lion, FireOnBin, Goi, Vitamin..even old-dated performed better than many new..
Who knows? maybe much more games are needed...or ? after all, time will tell..
Note also that CS is still On...some of the Top books will be played a bit more!

LXIX's Current Book Champion: DON - Congratulations to Vasid Chouhan!
Where GM Opening Book Champ: Vidit - Congratulations to Vidit Gujrath!

Breaking News - 22.01.2025:
My deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and I wish
A speedy recovery of those injured in the fire in Bolu / Turkey... Note also that
Current competition is paused for several days.. sure later it is planning to be
Resumed..And meantime, I've started organizing (as alternative) another new
Book NNUE CS and it will be via qualifying format such as 2nd + Super League!
Actually I'd like to write much more details regarding the latest championships,
But at moment, I'm feeling a great sadness and thanks for your understanding!

LXIX's Current Book Champion: DON - Congratulations to Vasid Chouhan!
Where GM's Opening Book Champ: Leko- Congratulations to Peter Leko!

Hello there,

Just another new strength series: NNUE Vs NON-NNUE

What is new?
JigSaw v5.9 is playing with fast Bullet TC: 15sec+0.3sec,
Where Cfish 030820 C40 is playing with Rapid: 15min+3sec

Here are ongoing results e.g after 77 out of 120 games,
So far 57+ Elo (in favor for JigSaw + fast Bullet NNUE)

Code: Select all

Score of v5.9 vs Cfish 030820 C40: 19 - 8 - 40 [0.582]
... JigSaw v5.9 playing White: 16 - 2 - 19 [0.689] 37
... JigSaw v5.9 playing Black: 3 - 6 - 21 [0.450] 30
... White vs Black: 22 - 5 - 40 [0.627] 67
Elo difference: 57.6 +/- 52.8, LOS: 98.3 %, DrawRatio: 59.7 %
67 of 120 games finished.
In other words, JigSaw v5.9's performance is impressive!
And who knows? perhaps is time to switch to fast Bullet?

Ok..that's all for now..very soon more details and tests..

UPDATE

All the new tests are completed and here are the results,
And I hope that all of the new strength tests to be useful...

JigSaw NNUE 15s+03s Vs Cfish NON-NN 15m+3s: 70+ Elo
In favor for JigSaw v5.9, really 'unbelievable' record !

Code: Select all

1 JigSaw v5.9 +39/-15/=66 60.00% 72.0/120
2 Cfish 030820 C40 +15/-39/=66 40.00% 48.0/120
------------------------------------------------------
JigSaw v5.9 15s+03s Vs Raubfisch SC 30s+06s: 32+ Elo
In favor for JigSaw v5.9, another unbelievable record!

Code: Select all

1 JigSaw v5.9 +101/-46/=453 54.58% 327.5/600
2 Raubfisch GTZ27c3 +46/-101/=453 45.42% 272.5/600
------------------------------------------------------

JigSaw v5.9 15s+03s Vs Raubfisch SC 30s+06s: 30+ Elo
In favor for JigSaw again, in short: just unstoppable..

Code: Select all

1 JigSaw v5.9 +69/-18/=513 54.25% 325.5/600
2 Raubfisch GTZ27c3 +18/-69/=513 45.75% 274.5/600
And why JigSaw? for many reasons, e.g a few of them:
Small size, it supports dual bin books, superior strong!
And according to many other tests, it's less Drawish..
Yes.. here proved and guaranteed..!!
------------------------------------------------------

As last, but a special STRENGTH test too: 21+ Elo
in favor for PlentyChess 3.0.1, same conditions used!
Why Plentychess 3.0.1? reason, otherwise it will be a
BIG miss.. you may know, this great one is managed to
Perform best, Winner of several recent Handicap CS..

Regarding Raubfish..fully deserves to be as player too!
Due less Drawish, besides still strong.. and is this all?
Not of course, small in size + supports BIN books too..

Code: Select all

1 PlentyChess 3.0.1 +180/-90/=1230 53.00% 795.0/1500
2 Raubfisch GTZ 25b +90/-180/=1230 47.00% 705.0/1500
Note: the above Strength Test played for see the Elo diff..
Since all Entries (in 2nd Legaue) played by 21 Elo weaker..
That means all of entries via Raubfisch GTZ 25b, where the
Constant ones are used to play via PlentyChess 3.0.1 engine

In same time that means (about current organized tourneys),
Another very hard cond..but as it will be 'unforgettable' tour!

GAMES:
https://mega.nz/file/7whT0BCL#-9MXj60vm ... 2r_cfjeKDU

------------------------------------------------------------

Conditions (for mostly of latest strength tests):
2x Epyc 7B12, CuteChess120, 1 Core, Ponder OFF, 30s+0.6s, 64 Hash, 4-MEN
Where at fast Bullet TC: JigSaw v5.9 is used to play faster TC: 15s + 0.3s
But in the Rapid test: Cfish 030820 is used to play 15m+3s, 512 MB hash
And as usual, Balsa + Unique openings are used for all eng participants!

Have fun and please stay tuned because soon new organized tours coming!
E.g at least I can say for right now: 2nd League + Super+ Extreme League..

Breaking News - 20.01.2025
New series of tours organized...congrats and many thanks to all authors!
For anyone interested, very soon Super & Extreme Leagues are coming..
No doubt that current championship is one of hardest..due all entries are
Played by Raubfish GTZ 25b engine, which is about 20 Elo weaker than
PlentyChess 3.0.1 where is used to play for the constant 3 (three) books
Just imagine how the current competition was so hard to gain high points
And a few quick notes about my created constant ones Super 66 is tuned
To prefer LXVI's qualified players wins or Super 22 book etc. tuned too to
Prefer Qualified players of various tourneys, but I've picked the old dated
Books wins, belonging to 2022 / 2023 year, but latest 2024 / 2025 are not
Touched. otherwise just in case...I'm afraid to say mostly may suffer a lot..
Anyhow I hope that you like my latest used new idea about tour's cond?
I hope also that all will be ended in piece / fun, since while Mr. Hamdullah
Is Winner, sometimes critics over him or Me appear as 'toxic' mushroom..
Sure if you have better idea/s, why not, just do it..but all in friendly way!
Btw, what about your work? Is it perfect ? I hardly doubt..in other words,
Before you are going to criticize someone's work, look firstly at yourself!
Believe it or not..there are so many holes, bugs in most engines, books..
But I've no much free time to report all..reason I'm too busy with others...
Even for the current news too much time takes to explain...just imagine
Again such as I share as without details, what you will you understand?
Not much..at least I can guarantee about 20 Elo diff no one can predict..
As final words, you have to work harder, your good dreams to come true!

Second League's Champion: Queen's Gambit- Congrats to Hamdullah Can!

Breaking News - 24.01.2024:
All league championships ended, congratulations and many thanks to all!
And as usual, again DON could not stay 'silent' for much longer..and said
The 'last' word! about rest ranks: 2nd HCAN, 3rd OPTIMUS, very good too!
Note that in Extreme League: 3800+ Elo (highest rated per author played)
Are qualified and as you may noticed e.g for Extreme league: I've used a
Faster Bullet time control (15s+0.3s) to reduce overall draws and I did it!
For example now close to 90% draws, besides tour's quality is not so bad
As reference, you can check latest new strength: Results, in fact, the fast
Bullet games were not so good (in strength, quality) in the past.. but via
Top NNUE engines, it seems the situation is changed much! If still not so
Clear?! Extreme League's 15s+0.3s games can be counted in 'strength' as
Slow TC in past..here not only one test, I've more tests about, see Results
What I can say more? Sure it all depends on used tour cond., but usually,
The best one wins! at least in my most organized tours.. is indicating as it!
Btw, this is also true that the ones with 'weak' characters, can't be in 'real'
Arena easily, actually they are good but in fight with papers, comments :)
Ok.. let's hope that I am mistaken here.. and they will fight on real Arena..

GRAND (Super+Extreme) Champ: DON - Congratulations to Vasid Chouhan!

Hello there,

Well, just another new CS (3800+) as players are almost all new, released
In latest days, weeks, months exc. Kookaburra, which is as 8 months old!

And once more we see that,
Powerful move is not in date or in size or in name, but in the correct line!
Even if Kookaburra will be in Top 10 ranks is all right..since too old-dated..

Actually here the right question should be:
How many Elo points did SF manage to improve (in one or in two years) ?
If you ask my opinion..not so much, even some older SF vers. are better!
E.g one of older SF ver is Winner one of recent organized Handicap tours:
https://sites.google.com/site/computers ... apped-cs-7

Note also that,
This exciting CS is playing via fast Bullet time control: 15s+0.3s, but
In the end of tour, I wonder what will be influences..about will appear
Time forfeits or not, due fast Bullet time control is used for all players

By the way, as you may noticed too:
I've included some of MZ's engines in this tour and let's hope peace, fun
To be a winner in 2025 and I think 'chess' can be a bridge to succeed it!

And here are the LIVE standings,
Where so far as current Leader: Kookaburra 3 - Congratulations to Dorz !
