Hello Chess Friends,

Meantime, just I would like to inform you that,
Another 'unforgettable' CS is coming very soon..
And very likely tomorrow the tour will be started..

To be more clear,
It will be under similar test conditions as B/N V,
Btw, as players are planning only public books!
For Second League's Results (coming very soon)

That's all for now except this great saying
Is going to all SCCT's brave participants:

One day, the Dog says to a Wolf:
If you were loved, they'd take you into their homes and love you.
The Wolf replies:
If we were curious about every lap, we'd be on streets like you,
Moreover, you can't find us but we can find you in every street.

And let's see, which Wolf will be the KING of chess streets ?)

UPDATE 1

The Strength Test started, actually many more engines played,
But they did not suit much to the current planning conditions...

Note that, as one of main targets:
Simply the goal to be the Elo Difference minus plus 15 Elo

And I have good news,
The below Top engines are planning to be used for B/N CS XXXI
As we see.. they are much suitable, for example about 15 Elo diff.
Sure current test is with Unique openings, but with Balsa is expecting
About 10 Elo diff. in same time that means in 1 year period of time
The ENG improvement is about 10-15 Elo...right ? ah one thing more
This is under Bullet cond. 1 Core etc.. but with better test cond. is
Expecting less Elo diff. for sure! anyhow we have to be satisfied...
Since all these great engines are free, stable, plus super strong!!

In other words,
All 'book' entries will be played via Polyfish 070623 engine,
Where the constant books of Second League will be played by:
JigSaw v5.9, Killfish 280624, Kookaburra 3 and SF-PB 120624

Code: Select all

Rank Name Elo +/- Games Score Draw
   0 Polyfish 070623 -16 7 939 47.8% 88.9%
   1 Kookaburra 3 21 15 237 53.0% 88.2%
   2 Killfish 280624 19 16 232 52.8% 86.6%
   3 JigSaw v5.9 16 13 236 52.3% 91.1%
   4 SF-PB 120624 6 14 234 50.9% 89.7%

939 of 1200 games finished.
And please stay tuned,
More updates, details soon as possible...

Greetings )

UPDATE 2

SCCT B/N XXXI's Strength Test Results is completed

So via Unique + Balsa openings: 13 Elo Difference

Code: Select all

1 Top 4 3780+ Elo +107/-45/=1528 51.85% 871.0/1680
2 Polyfish 070623 +45/-107/=1528 48.15% 809.0/1680
GAMES:
https://mega.nz/file/vp5i0CIR#Zbh5gPnTz ... mI6iljWQM0

More Details:
Top 4 3780+ Elo = JigSaw v5.9, Killfish 280624, Kookaburra 3 and SF-PB 120624
Player1 book by JigSaw, Player2 by Killfish, Player3 by Kookaburra, Player4 by
SF-PB engine will be played..in short, in ALFBE order: the engines are set..

Btw, for anyone intetrested, missed:
Player1 is tuned to prefer wins of B/N XXIX's 2nd League, that means Balsa..
Player2 = The wins of B/N XXII, BN XV, BN IX and BN V's 2nd League books
Player3 = The wins of NON-NNUE both tours: LXVI and LVI's 2nd League books
Player4 = The wins of NON-NNUE both tours: LII and XXXX's 2nd League books

In other words (for my recent created Player1, Player2 etc.):
I did not touch / include any single win by the Book Entries..
I mean only 2nd league constants books wins are tuned to prefer...

Be aware of that too,
Any BOOK entry will be played min. 520 games,
And the ones with 50%+ win. percentage will be
Qualified in planning XXXI's Super League CS

And I wish to say all of you that
The current BN XXXI is one of the HARDEST for sure!
Because to gain very high points and to qualify with
So BIG disadvantages..such as playing vs 13+ Elo diff.

Meanwhile,
I hope to see more public opening books as well,
You know, The more we share, the more we have...

And no doubt too,
Without the public books, private ones would not exist too!

And please stay tuned...soon as possible,
BIG results update is coming...Btw, any guess?
Which Book is leading: AdrianOliva or OPTIMUS
Or HCAN or Hurna 2023 or Tuna or other one?

Good Luck to ALL )

Breaking News - 08.07.2024:
As I promised, here is the BIG update...there are many words to say
But no free time for all exc. AdrianOliva can not be from this planet!
I've seen/tested thousands of books, but this is different, unique one!
Btw, in past. Kerveros contacted me privately..simply he requested to
Not test his old dated ones..sure I disagreed and here is best answer.
V by Kerrveros is again and still is one of the most successful books!
And not only now..his Zeus (as old-dated) managed to be on Top too!
In other words, please... I know what I am doing !) On the other hand,
There are many other old-dated books, which managed to qualify too!!
And frankly (about mostly of the qualified books) no BIG surprise at all...
E.g Player1 (Balsa) is one of highest gained points so far but you know,
If various openings....as usual, my books performing not so bad..right?
One thing more, Skynet's 3 (three) books are qualified..in short: great !
Sure it's impressive too that both HCAN free books are qualified as well
Interesting to note that Hurna 2023 and Goi+ Grendel are still not dead!
But I admit that unfortunately OPTIMUS had very bad luck vs Player 3..
Where lost with BIG difference, otherwise would be with over than 50%
Of course, there are many other ones which were not so lucky too...but
It's impossible (in every tour) to be one of the Top ranked book players..
Note also (for anyone missed) Player1, Player2 etc books are released
And all of them can be found directly on Openchess + Goi chess forums
As other good news: one of my shared books (BN XXII Top) qualified too!
Ok..friends that's all for now..and in next days, Super League is coming..

2nd League Leader: AdrianOliva - My Congratulations to Angel Morano!

EDIT: Player1 book by JigSaw, Player2 by Kookaburra, Player3 by Killfish, Player4 by
SF-PB engine will be played..in short, in ALFBE order: the engines are set.. and
The Eng names will be shorten as JigSaw (JS), Kookaburra (KB), Killfish (KF) etc.

Btw, OPTIMUS book lost badly to Player2 (not to Player3), e.g here are ind. stats:

Code: Select all

1 OPTIMUS 2405 253.5/520
2 Player2 KB 79.0 - 51.00.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.0 ** 79.0/130
3 Player3 KF 65.5 - 64.50.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.0 ** 65.5/130
4 Player1 JS 64.5 - 65.50.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.0 ** 64.5/130
5 Player4 PB 57.5 - 72.50.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.00.0 - 0.0 ** 57.5/130

Breaking News - 09.07.2024:
Well, via this update again too many books are entered...where some
Managed to qualify, where mostly unfortunately could not... But it's ok..
Since many are quite old-dated..even some books are based on 2020,
Actually not all are old dated, some are quite new e.g Dara, Stealth etc
Anyhow I believe that I'm on right way.. sure my job is not to discover
Gold..) but to discover the best ones, which never die..as Immortal !)
On other hand, there are such books, with time are better.. like Wine)
E.g some of them: Cerebellum, Solista, V by Kerveros, HCAN, Hurna,
Goi+Grendel plus many others as well..and my Congratulations to all
Authors, who managed to qualify... even under these hard conditions!!
Btw, Skynet has best record so far: his 4 books managed.. incredible!!
Meanwhile, just as friendly advice, about who could not to qualify so far,
Before releasing..good idea to train your Book vs Players1, Player2 etc
In this way (via hand tuning) I expect your book will be better, stronger!
Ok it's time to concentrate over Super League with 17 Top participants..
And I wish you the best of luck...)

UPDATE

Some Notes About Super League':
After checking more closely, it is very clear that
JigSaw 5.9's produced draw ratio (via Balsa) is less...
This is another good news, because 91% draws can be
Considered not so high..especially for strong engines
Plus in case of using strong opening lines as well..

In other words,
All SL's qualified books will be played by JigSaw 5.9
You may know (in SCCT):
There is no double standards, I'm influenced by no one,
Exc. I check eng or book results, statistics, tools etc.
Even is important eng exe sizes...sure if book tours..
Actually other important influence is playing 'FUN'
For this reason, there is a possibility Super League to
Be played under Bullet cond. but before I need to run
JigSaw's draw itself tests: Blitz 2m+1s, Bullet 1m+06s
Otherwise, if using such cond. where almost all draws,
Then what is the point...?) sure via Online.. may appear
More wins..because wrong eng configuration, vs weak engines
Or playing vs weak openings or as other influence is that
The hardware speed differences play BIG role too, but
On same + fast hardware:
The situation is not like that..moreover if using/testing
Strong book openings etc. then totally different, right?

Btw, here is draw ratio of 2nd league constant players:

Code: Select all

Rank Name Elo + - games score oppo. draws
   2 Player1 JS 3809 2 2 6890 53% 3793 91%
   8 Player2 KB 3803 2 2 6890 52% 3793 94%
  11 Player3 KF 3800 2 2 6890 51% 3793 94%
  44 Player4 PB 3788 2 2 6890 49% 3793 93%
