I played against a hottie in a tournament once (1500-1700). I thought I was pretty smooth when I asked her if she wanted to beat my bishop. She didn't seem to think it was funny...

Being married to a beautiful woman and working with many attractive women good decisions in their presence comes naturally. If ya look intimidated and scared the girls pick up on that in a second. If ya don't you might just find their distracted and not you!!! By the way
smooth would have been a post-mortem and offering to buy dinner and drinks.

Looking at The Wijk aan Zee Grandmaster "C" tournament I´ve noted that Indian Tania Sachdev (2391)
has won Serbian Ivan Ivanisevic (2630).
He was not wearing blinders
during tha game .

Really, it´s very very hard.
Well, I understand Ivan Ivanisevic. Even if I had blinders on my eyes it would be very hard for me not to think about my pretty opponent; and I would like to have a look at her face every little moment. Who would cares about a chess game?
