Good Stuff Ted!, it's really great to see alot of people coming here as well. I was at Icdchess/talkchess since the beginning, but this seems like a welcomed change in flavour!

I look forward to posting here, wishing this website the best. I like the name by the way.

Hi Ted. Jeremy has given us all a new venue. Thanks Jeremy! Hopefully this site will flourish and be productive. I also hope the problems that arose in CCC can be corrected. The psychological impact of this forum may be a turning point for CCC, time will tell. It's great there's finally an alternative forum that has branched off from an ailing system and if they can't get CCC back to where it was years ago this forum will fill that void. Good luck to all!

Hello Terry,

Just when I am about to give up, you post something like this and confirm that underneath it all, you are far better than you wish other persons to see.

Later.

Has it not been because of the cost, that no site like this has
been created before ?
How will you pay for bandwidth etc, Mr Bernstein ?

I hope this site will succeed :)

I just have a host who offers unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage (JustHost). I was using JustHost for another domain I have (expr-i0.net), which holds data for my primary domain (bootsquad.com), so all I am paying for is a domain registration, which I gladly donate to the community. I might add daily automatic backups at some point, but even then, the yearly costs would be about the price of a good meal. If that changes, I'll let you know.
