Rybka 4 edges Houdini 1.5 ......... 50.5 - 49.5

I was testing the Rybka/Houdini " 2-for-1 " theory .........

i7 (940) @ 3.75 / ponder off / 512 mb / Fritz 11 / klo_openings

Houdini gets one core
Rybka gets two cores

Time : 4 mins + 2 secs

Rybka 4 ................. 50.5 ..........+ 29 , - 28 , = 43
(2cores)

Houdini 1.5 .............49.5
(1core)

---------------------

Maybe the Houdini cluster will only have to be half as big as the Rybka cluster ??

You see that it's slightly more than a theory :).

Perhaps even 8-core Houdini will be as strong as 40-core Cluster Rybka :).
