64x - Ovyron
Re: 64x - Ovyron
Oh, it would be great to put the game on hold, if you allow me, I'm already over the top of my limit, so an adjournment would be appreciated.
I'd continue this game when I have the time, thanks in advance.

Re: 64x - Ovyron
No problem at all! See you back here when you are ready.
Re: 64x - Ovyron
Alright 64x, I'm ready to continue the game if you wish to do so!
Re: 64x - Ovyron
Awesome! Welcome back ... I am ready to continue.
Re: 64x - Ovyron
Thanks again for the break, if it wasn't for it I'd continue to struggle to catch up with my games, instead I managed to finish several ones.
On critical positions I may use several hours, on easy ones a few minutes, but I'm proud of playing decent chess against people that have their engines running 24 hours analyzing positions non stop, perhaps on several computers.
What I remember from this game is that my position was very dangerous, with my core engines dying one by one, and the others not having a clue, let's see if I can fix it and simplify the position, it's always too much pressure losing the first game and trying desperately to win the second one. So here's my move:
1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nf3 d5 4. g3 dxc4 5. Bg2 Bd7 6. Ne5
Bc6 7. Nxc6 Nxc6 8. O-O Qd7 9. e3 O-O-O 10. Nd2 h5 11. Nxc4
h4 12. Bd2 Nd5 13. a3 hxg3 14. hxg3 f5 15. b4 g5 16. Qb3
Qh7 17. Rfc1 Bd6 18. b5 Nce7 19. Kf1 Kb8 20. Nxd6 Rxd6
I just have a single computer, but I claim that, no matter how hard is a move to find, with enough interactions one should manage to find it in about an hour, because it's there on your face, it's not like it's hidden from view or something. If one doesn't find the move, something went wrong, so I keep tweaking my analysis method every time I notice my play was sloppy, and I keep improving.64x wrote: (you must have one cool computer farm)

Re: 64x - Ovyron
My pleasure... anytime!
I agree with you regarding AN. Besides, I need to play the game in my head as much as in the computer to enjoy it, so computer time is also reduced that way.
