If you know that your BIN book won't exactly play the same lines as the targeted EXP file it's already useless.

If you plan to test your BIN book from the start position while the targeted EXP file hasn't been trained from the start position it's clearly useless.

But TDs specializing in BIN books must absolutely preserve the appearances by all means.

If you look back at the history of events :

On March 11, 2025, i posted a new thread showing how "the opening books are completely harmless" against a learning engine.

On March 13, 2025, suddenly SC was relaunching yet another attempt of "book vs experience".

- since Oct 31, 2021, at learning i use several learning engines as opponents
- for my challenges, I used a learning engine for each EXP file
- for beginner trainers of engines, I published a tutorial for creating a learning farm
- etc.

Furthermore, if other EXP files are lighter than mine :
that's not my problem the honest EXP file's authors just need to vary their openings better
that's not my problem the other EXP file's authors who rename existing EXP files or merge foreign data in order to artificially increase their EXP file's weight.
