Hi Dorsz
I personally prefer both  But if we should choose one of these options, I prefer to have the version that your tests confirm it completely.
Best regards

Hi!
You can have both, it is just what I mean. I can release one of versions I have now, but when I will find better settings I will release it too... but later.

Thanks in advance Dorsz. Although I never forget that you didn't release Swordfish anymore. ;)

Swordfish release would be very artificial nowadays. I don't want to create an engine with the same name that does not play like in the past at all. The code is very incompatible with the current Stockfish. On the positive side, you can still use it and have fun.

For comparison look that Kookaburra does not use more than 200 patches than current Stockfish. Now imagine how different must be much older Swordfish.

I invested a lot of time testing it, but in the end, it didn’t work as expected. :difus_9
Use v3.00 or new development Stockfish instead that should be stronger or any other engine you wish.

I think Kookaburra v3 is wonderful, it is currently my number 1 choice. New version is not urgent, I think the new version needs to pass the tests to be better than the previous version
thanks a lot dorsz
