Nimzo 3d Chess GUI for Windows with Fics

Previously, I have posted links for my Nimzo_3d Chess GUI program
which is an enhanced version of the Tarrasch chess GUI with the
following additional features :-

Shootout mode
User defined board bitmaps
Printing functions
Puzzle mode
Engine match and tournament functions
Automatic game analysis
3d graphics powered by DirectX
Game sound effects

I have now added capability for playing on the
Free Internet Chess Server (Fics) to the program.

The program can be downloaded from the following links -

The download is a zip file setup_Nimzo_3d_chess.7z
When you unzip this file you will find installation
and usage instructions in the file README_v3_5.txt

The program will run on Windows 7 - 11, 32-bit and 64-bit.

The program is free and open source,
so please feel free to share the program and the links.

When you unzip the download you can then
install the new version by running the
program setup_Nimzo_3d_chess_v3_6.exe

Great news and thanks again..
And after quick checking.. Nimzo 3d seems to a nice GUI with a lot of futures!

By the way,
You know, nowadays all modern/fast computers come with many cores,
So any plans to add 'concurrent' option (in tournament mode section) ?
Just in case..testers will have chances of running simultaneously matches!

And in this way, via concurrent' option: many of us will save free CPU time...
In same time that means much more games will be produced in short time!

Hi Mr Roy
I have a an issue with engines own opening books. Only two engines (Eman and Patzer) can use its own opening book. Of course, all the engines parameters are saved with the method of Nimzo3d.
Can you put an eye? Thanks in advance. Your work are great
