Critter 1.6a engine - examiner. The best was the chess engine Motor 0.7.0 which won all games.
Another test tournament of strong chess engines was won by Marauders 3.8. 14 wins without a defeat - a very good result. In 2nd place the Stockfish dev-20240803 engine and in 3rd place the Kookaburra 3.00 engine.
As many as 30 engines played in the test tournament of new versions of chess engines. In 1st place was the HypnoS 030824 engine. Places 2-3 with the same score were shared by the Brainlearn 28.1 and Yuliana 5.0 engines.
For comparison, we added the "old" Critter 1.6a engine to the tournament.

Two engines Rems EXP 150824 and Devre 6.0 scored 5.5 points each and took 1-2 place.
Of course, we are not overestimating this result because there were few games, but Devre's result is a huge surprise.
As many as 34 new chess engines back tested in another big tournament. The HypnoS 120824 engine won by far. The 2nd-6th places were taken by engines: Rems 150824, Rems MPV 150824, JigSaw 5.9, Steel Fighter III and Rems EXP 150824.
The Radiance 3.2 and Euwe 1.0 engines had problems working in the Banksia GUI.
The test tournament of new versions of the strongest chess engines was won by CorChess dev-20240804. In 2nd place was the Stockfish dev-20240803 engine. Shared places 3-5 were taken by the SF-PRO 05.08.2024, HypnoS 030824 and Stockfish 16.1 engines.
Another Swiss tournament was won by the CorChess 20240804 and Rems 150824 engines. Small number of games - 64 chess, but there were some interesting results. For example, Lc0 0.31.1 won against HypnoS 120824.
Unexpectedly, Lizard 10.5 won against YuliGM STRONG 180824.
A small test tournament of new versions of chess engines. Places 1-2 were taken by the Rems 150824 and Deep Ripper -1 engines. Right behind them in places 3-4 were the Rems EXP 160824 and CorChess 20240804 engines.
An interesting fact is the participation of the Mephisto Gideon Professional (1993) engine.
