PGNSORT TOOLS by RAMZ

Post by OrgZ »

pgnsort
by Tanick Ramz.

how to use:
Place and rename any pgn file to games.pgn into the folder of pgnsort.
Double click on the pgnsort.exe or drag and drop the games.pgn on the pgnsort.exe
it will create 3 files Ww.pgn (Whitewins), Bw.pgn (Blackwins) and draws.pgn
Hope you find it useful and enjoy it.

Test:
was able to sort scct_bn_cs_30.pgn having 42 940 games

Thanks Solidor :difus_19 . i didn't realize that on other pcs it might need DLL files(all though on the pc which i used to compile it does not require any external files).
i tested it on my Hp laptop and it needs 3 DLL files which i have included in the link below. all should be fine now.

@ OrgZ

By the way, I've tested also your latest TourSort v2 tool,
Where I made a experiment with Candidates LII games,
And TourSort is generated 5 losses in timeloss.pgn
That means your tool is sorted all correctly...!

Keep up the great work )

Best,
Sedat

TourSort v2 tool,
PgnSorter v2.0
This program: (works with lichess and Cutechess on filtering timeloss games)

Reads games.pgn and removes duplicates.
Filters out games lost by time forfeit and writes them to Timeloss.pgn. [on Lichess and Cutechess type of pgn]
Separates the remaining games into Ww.pgn (white wins), Bw.pgn (black wins), and draws.pgn (draws) without time forfeit.
> Filtering wins both colours and draws is for all pgn types
Writes all unique games without time forfeit to Filtered.pgn.
This ensures that the final output consists of all the necessary PGN files: Filtered.pgn, Timeloss.pgn, Ww.pgn, Bw.pgn, and draws.pgn.

Hope it will be useful
