In third place is Kookaburra 2.00.
The test is very valuable - over 1,300 games!

Clover 6.1.19 wins New Amateur Engines Test, by CEDR 2024.05.02-07
https://chessengines.blogspot.com/2024/ ... gines.html

Clover 6.1.19 won a major amateur chess engine tournament for an older computer. Many new versions starred in it. Next to the already known engines, the Saturn 1.3 performed well. This is a completely new product and it already sounds very strong.

Let's include ranking gains or losses in the table, they may be a bit misleading, because engines that we are testing for the first time and that have not played at least 250 games have an initial ranking of 2400.
