Hello Chess Friends,

Well, just I'd like to inform you that,
I managed to create all Champions books !!
You know..this is my job...and I love my job )

Believe Me,
Running these kind of competitions.. it is not so easy
As it looks... but just because is hard...it does not
Mean to give up, right ?)

Note also that, normally:
The tournament's target was to be played with Ponder ON,
As we know, real Chess is thinking in Opponent's turn!

But what a pity that,
Not all of engines are so stable.. e.g when the pondering is enabled:
Unfortunately sometimes I see time forfeits (disconnecting from games)
But quite normal..as we know mostly of these engines are old-dated...
The real problem is that, when new engines and to have bugs, right too?
Sure...my fingers are tired to explain but let's hope the next new ones
To be stable... sure with limit playing strength too...as you may see too
We have real problems with eng settings...as I stated before., e.g some
Engines are far away from the reality....

Be aware of that too please,
Shield 2.1 engine is replaced with Pawny 1.2, as simple reason,
There is something strange in Shield 2.1's book settings, e.g
Often is out of book (even when there are main lines to be played)
Sure..I tried to change the book settings, but did not help at all...

Ok here is 1st tourney results...in gauntlet mode...I will see and check,
If it is all right... then all players will be played in round-robin mode

GOOD LUCK TO ALL :difus_19

Update 3

Stockfish 1.4 engine is replaced with Komodo Dragon 2880 Elo
As reason, Stockfish is refused to play with Kasparov book
Really no any idea why... very likely SF did not like it ))
But under Arena GUI is all right...no any problem...it seems
Stockfish 1.4 suffers using external bin book under Cutechess!
Sure with Polyglot adapter is possible.. but this time SF's strength
Can be not same....anyhow I will test Kasparov book via both
Engines....at least we will have some and newer data,
Regarding SF via using Polyglot adapter too...e.g
In the past, as far as I remember, under Winboard GUI
Stockfish is suffered via Polyglot adapter...

Btw, special thanks to Zamchess, for his suggestion...
Otherwise, I would still looking for other chess engine/s
You may know..too complicated to find close to 2880 Elo

Greetings
