Breaking News - 18.12.2023:
Grendel, Grendel, Grendel managed to be as first Public Champ..nice!
Where Lion book (even as not so new) managed to be Private Champion!
And as you may see too, via this HUGE update...too many book entries!
Actually a lot of words to say, but no free time for all exc Grendel's author
Mr. Goi is requested his latest book to be participant (for previous tours)
But unfortunately I could not... as reason I use CuteChess GUI...but via
SF-SCCT engine, now his wish is done, plus as other CTG book entries:
Exc. Perfect, DON Free 2023, 1337chess 070422 are participated so far
Btw, just out of curiosity, many former Champion books entered as well e.g
Some of oldies are DON light2+Champ, they were Winners many times!
But they are old-dated e.g, Champ is based on 2018, DON Light on 2020
Be aware of that too, so far all CTG books are played with option Width 2
In same that means, not all of the main green colored moves are played!
For examples, Perfect CTG's main moves (as green) are d4, e4, c4, Nf3
But played only d4 and e4, sure with Width 4 prefers all the 4 main moves,
But just in case with Width 4, sometimes the disabled lines are preferring..
Sure I refer for some deeper positions..for this reason...Width 2 is safer..
Sure I' am meaning up to 10 moves, but what about in deeper openings?
Frankly, the situation is critical..as I mentioned before, even with Width 1
Frequently even the disabled lines are used to play..for this reason, I hope
All the next engine releases (with CTG book future) to be fixed....thanks...
Ok..the current tour is still active..e.g 25 other opening books are coming!
Let's see... both Champs (Grendel and Lion) will hold the tittles or not ?!)

Public Book Champion Grendel - My Congratulations to Massimiliano Goi!
Prıvate Opening Book Champion Lion - Congratulations to AJ Lamprecht!

Breaking News - 19.12.2023:
Well this time, Solista Solista Solista CTG is said the last word, impressive!
The good news:is that Mr. Eduard's books for 1st time is became Champion..
Plus other good news, Mr. AJ's Lion book for 1st time became Champ as well
Sure, Grendel, Alchemist, Dragon Tooth etc. are performed very good too!
Be aware, via latest update 25 opening books are entered..e.g one of them is
OrangeSuite is new strong CTG entry (by Mr Morano) submitted today/tested..
As other CTG book entries: Alchemist, DarkGalactus, Feta and FireOnBoard
On the other hand, I admit also that mostly strong Trend books are suffered..!
Due to current contest is played with limited book settings (up to 10 moves)
But this is also true that (like every book), some lines need to be optimized..
At least I can say for my books, I will check more closely about weaknesses..
To be more clear regarding why I preferred with book settings up to 10 moves
1st of all, rather I'd say about the current tour, as experimental book testing..
Because via this tour, for 1st time, CTG books are played under CuteChess
And if we are going deeper (in lines) via CTG: this time the risk is increasing!
As I stated earlier, some of green lines are not used to play...this is a BUG !
If still not clear, sure not always...but quite frequently I noticed that instead of
The green lines, the disabled opening moves are used to play...and not only
Via SF-SCCT engine, unfortunately this bug contains in all..(with CTG future)
But up to 10 moves, it seems to be more safe, otherwise CTG books would
Not be ranked one of best, if nothing else many CTG ones proved to be so!
Meanwhile, the latest strength results are on Openchess and on Goi forum
Otherwise some may have confusions that SF-SCCT is stronger..but it's not..
Here..under these conditions the main role about gaining better points is that,
A very well-hand tuning is required...and the opening repertoire have to be
Quite limited and to be used the strongest Trend openings..just one example
Balsa, Perfect or Unique book's openings would never gain higher points vs
Current Top trend books, because I've used to play many various openings..
Otherwise, if using a small number lines then wouldn't be boring for tests?
Sure I 'm referring about Eng testings (not for Book tours), one thing more,
Plus X engine's strength can not be determined by a few Trend openings!
Anyhow, I'm satisfied with my used openings, at least they are not so weak..
For anyone missed, the other my created book is Sun, played in: BN XXII
And if I'm not wrong, I spent minus plus 10 minutes for Sun book's creation
Ok. chess friends the tour is over, thank you and my congratulations to all!
And I hope you like my efforts?! e.g just for this posting I spent many time..

Public Book Champion: Solista - My Congratulations to Eduard Nemeth!
Prıvate Opening Book Champion Lion - Congratulations to AJ Lamprecht!

Dear Chess Friends )

As usual, I am very pleased to announce that:
I started running a new Champion of Champions tourney!
Note: All Champion books will be played by Raubfish SC

To be more clear, where this time:
CTG opening books will be played under Fritz GUI too,
And as opponents will be only Champions authors work!
But with the Number Ones, which belong to only 2023!
I did not touch the ancient, very old-dated Champ books,
Because I think that they have no much chances at all..
Or Perfect 2023, since it is not a deep opening book!
But for anyone missed, in the past they were as 'beast' !!

Ok...and let's see in the last days, weeks of 2023 year,
Who will manage to be latest Champion of Champions?!
Any guess ? Yes.. as we see, it is hard to estimate...
Because here all are very dangerous opponents,
And I admit also that mostly are new, but some of
The Champions books are already old-dated too,
But no way all books to be new...because unfortunately
Many of Champion authors are not active...besides,
I have no much free time, patience to wait.. )
Thanks for your understanding...

Champions Book Participants:
C.B Conqueror by Hamdullah Can
Dark Galactus V3 by Vaiebhav
DON 240923 by Vasid Chouhan
Everest 300923 by Ivan Alekseev
Feta 7 by Vladislav Belikov
Goddess by Olivier Charles
Grendel 081023 by Massimiliano Goi
LesChats 151223 by Jorge Centelles
Lion 110423 by AJ Lamprecht
OlisFish 201123 by Skynet (Alex)
ORIONPAX3 by Roger Constantinesco
Red Dragon by Ian Hurnavich
Sambala by Cevdet Sarı
Solista 070823 by Eduard Nemeth
StudentChess by Ethan Smith
Unicornio by Angel Morano

Good luck to all

Kind Regards,
