What about other variations like Crazyhouse? There it's an eternal middle game, it should provide plenty of room to originality, and still allows one to study openings, the best of both worlds.

I agree with you. I love Crazyhouse. I even installed a Crazyhouse software program I use. Can't remember the name right now. If you have Winboard, you can use Sjeng 112 with different opening setups. i've tried it and it works.Ovyron wrote:What about other variations like Crazyhouse? Sunsetter maybe? I remember that being one of the premier Crazy House engines.
