I really hope that fire engine will be able to comeback to it’s actual and deserved ranking. You know that when many of these new engines even didn’t exist, fire was one of the bests. I feel happy when I see subjib Patel is working on fire project with Norman. I think great changes will be on the way.

thought i would see Fire or Halogen too there, and hey have you tested this engine called beef? not against sf devs of course. this small engine gives some interesting games.

Fire's author (Norman Schmidt) time to time releases newer versions

Btw, interesting to point out that,
After checking other ratings...Fire 9 is weaker than Fire 8NN MC3
That's why I picked for my recent Blitz tour: Fire 8NN MC3

Beef 036 is weaker than 3500..anyhow, I tested it a long time ago:

On other hand,
Halogen seems to be weaker than 3500+ Elo too
That's why they are not as players..but Fire is entered...

As usual, RapTora is just born to win...not always...but many times for sure!
Stockfish 16 is another beast..performed as 2nd rank (in both competitions)
