It's quite a pleasure to see H.G. Muller and Bob Hyatt in these forums. Gentlemen, we have not met, but you've both been a great inspiration to me.
I've put together a very primitive UCI chess engine called Superpawn, which should not be taken very seriously. It plays a mostly legal game of chess, and that's about all that can be said for its quality at this time. That said, it was a fun challenge to get it running, and when I ran into problems I could not solve, Google typically took me to articles written by you two.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to the community and grant access to the sources at http://chess.johnbyrd.org . It's a pleasure to meet you all virtually.
