i would like to write a chess engine of my own .i named it Woodthumper 1.0 because its my best friends username .i have a little bit of knowledge in java .so i decided to write it in java .i got some references from online but they are too old one is 1997 and 1985 .i dont know from where to start my project any suggestion/help will be appricated
