Cool Iris 10.40

Cool Iris is CorChess with experience file (Iris.exp), in this case it uses the 2560 network. Updated to the latest patch of SF 16 250723, this is an engine that I use in particular for private games. I want to share it and it is free to test, if you want to train the engine I suggest starting from scratch.

Hello Anton, the engine is not quite identical to CorChess. In search.cpp Step 15, the following line in CorChess reads like this:

&& tte->depth() >= depth - 4)

For Cool Iris, this value is 3. This is a major difference from CorChess. This value is also 3 for Stockfish, but Corchess has always had a value of 4 here, and the search is therefore different.

I do not like it. You're welcome to do it that way, but then you shouldn't claim that your engine is "CorChess". This value influences the search! CorChess is designed for long analysis and then the value 4 is better than 3. This value has always been 4 in CorChess and if you change that then please don't claim that the engine is "CorChess". I will no longer believe your words.
