Patzer AI 020223
Re: Patzer AI 020223
Hi Mr. Sedat
No, I don’t use opening books.when I was younger (at age 19)I started to learn openings with the help of Fritz program. It took 5 years for me that I learned all the openings, presented on Fritz GUI by default. Now I am 45 years old. During these years I have kept this habit, and I practice openings with engines( by playing against them). But now I don’t use Fritz, I use stockfish and it’s derivatives. I only use Fritz GUI. I select an opening from the menu, then select engine and play a rapid(25+10) or blitz (4+2) game. During these years I have learned how to play different openings at a high level for a human player. Although I study the innovative moves played by Grandmaster or different engines in match events too.
Best regards

Hello Mr. Homayoun,
Interesting to read what you wrote... )
Btw, if you have difficulties how to use, create, check database etc.
Here are some ways...and let's start )
1st of all,
If you did not create any PGN database before..
Here are some ways..in short, how to do that:
Open your Fritz GUI, and from Menu bar click:
File--New--New Database
Next step, in File name section:
Give any name ...
Click over Save as type 'Databases'
Change to PGN flies (PGN)
E.g later you can save you games in that database...
----------------------------------------------------------
Sure as other alternative way, all your played games are
Automatically saved in Chessbase folder directory, e.g mine:
C:\Users\ryzen\Documents\ChessBase\MyWork\AutoSave.cbh
Note: AutoSave database is in CBH forrmat,
For example, if your target to copy, paste to Openchess forum..
Then, you have to convert Autosave CBH file to PGN file...
If you need more help, just let me know please )
Hope helps...
Greetings )

Re: Patzer AI 020223
Hi OrgZ
Because I criticised on this thread before, now I think it’s my duty to express my pleasant feeling about the new version of patzer too. I like this version more than previous ones. Better playing style and better evaluation. I don’t know about it’s strength. Like many other members I am waiting for Mr. Sedat great tournament to see it’s ranking among other engines updates. I also studied the new chess engine diary tournaments. I saw that Abbystein and Vanilla had very good results also Raid 3 and Tactical (Anton engine). Congratulations for these successes too.

Re: Patzer AI 020223
Thanks Mr Homayoun.
Well my focus on this version was not on strength but giving good games. but also maintaining a bit of strength so. he is not vulnerable he can fight for himself. though stockfish 201123 is stronger than him....tested against other derivatives and it came out best well on my test that is. anything can happen given testing conditions. especially a tournament . so we will see like you said.
