Correct.

i gather games filter, host my own games with various engines and merge.
theres even a picture there that shows Hazard vs Raid games and a bin named 000.bin

there's 120.bin is the second book the first book is 2mb its a base line (its fully tuned its used to create different books), think of it as a backbone.111.bin, 112.bin and 114.bin that's the final book that you have. tested by SF POLY 110923X. as you can see am doing all this by my self. :difus_11
I like it, a good method...
I mean e.g running book matches on same PC

Anyhow, for better performance,
I'd try testings via Raubfish SC as well...

You may know,
SF POLY's playing style is not exactly same as Raubfish SC

Greetings
you are right. SF POLY is stronger Raubf just has a tendency to negate draws, i have that engine i know it very well.
Yes..for example, via Raubfish SC, the current draw ratio is not so high: 88%
Where with rest engines (which are slightly stronger...) produce close to 98%

That means 10% draw difference...and this factor
Can make as serious influence over the results....

So...to be successful in current tour:
You have to switch to ....... engine ?)

Greetings

Not at at all... )

Meanwhile, so far:
You have 3-times tittles as ENG Champion,
And frankly this is really a great success!

On other hand,
Where now my wish to be Book Champ too!
And why not...? in case..just do not give up...
Btw, there is such good saying:
Winners never quit, quitters never win!

Breaking News (01.10.2023):
BIG update: 13 books participated, where now some of ranks are changed..
Exc. DON Hercules's standing, yes still holds the lead..with over 3800+ Elo
But SARI book is a new Public one, which is managed to be as Champion!
Everest (by Ivan Alekseev) another Private... which performed very strong!
Zaytsev (by Hamdullah Can) is Private book too, even old-dated.. not bad!
Same words are going for Angel Morano's opening book (Pimienta) as well
Note that 1337chess X and Solista X books are created by Me, which are
Tuned to prefer their played CTG openings, yes, theirs points not bad too!
Note also that the current tour is paused for temporary of time...as reason
In the next days, I hope to run a new alternative tour... but as NON-NNUE
And please stay tuned, more details about the new competition very soon!

Private Book Champion DON Hercules Congratulations to Vasid Chouhan!

Breaking News (03.10.2023):
1st of all, I named it Extreme League, because here new entries are mainly
Top opening books of CS XVI and all of them are played by BrainFish 240720
Vs various in strength players of av. 3600 (plus including NNUE engines too)
Yes. this book competition is not so easy as it looks.. to be one of Top ranks!
As we see, so far OPTIMUS 4 book's performance is best..that means a lot!!
LesChats, CachoSCCT, DON Hercules, Everest etc are doing not bad as well
More info/updates very soon... and please stay tuned...)

The Current Book Leader: OPTIMUS 4 - Congrats to Roger Constantinesco!

Breaking News (04.10.2023):
OPTIMUS...OPTIMUS...OPTIMUS..is the first Champion..impressive indeed!
Same words are going for Pimienta book, where managed to be Champ too!
LesChats book is 2nd, but serious candidate to be as next Champion as well
DON Hercules's score is slightly below..actually nothing strange (for 500 KB),
E.g DON is frequently early out of book...just one example vs FireOnBin, Btw
For better performance: DON Hercules needs much more openings for sure!
Note also that in next days, I hope to test more books ..so please stay tuned!
Meanwhile, for my previous postings about current new championship News

Public Book Champion OPTIMUS Congrats to Roger Constantinesco!
Private Book Champion: Pimienta Congratulations to Angel Morano!

Thank you Sedat for organizing those big tournaments. Impressed to see very good result for your tiny 500KB book inspired by Don's best lines.

This shows exactly what I was thinking when I began making opening books : no need to have hundreds of MB in opening books files to obtain a strong book.

Congrats to Angel, Jorge and Hamdullah CAN also.

Best regards.
