Please, don't do the same error as Sedat.
Unfortunately I could not run a test with Eman, due to no so stable
But I have good news e.g via RaptoRa.. I manged to start a new
Hash-table strength test (on 2x EPYC 7B12)

By the way, for for the moment
128 MB hash leads over 512 MB hash..

Code: Select all

Score of RapTora 2.2 128mb vs RapTora 2.2 512mb: 17 - 12 - 290 [0.508]
... RapTora 2.2 playing White: 15 - 2 - 138 [0.542] 155
... RapTora 2.2 playing Black: 2 - 10 - 152 [0.476] 164
... White vs Black: 25 - 4 - 290 [0.533] 319
Elo difference: 5.4 +/- 11.5, LOS: 82.3 %, DrawRatio: 90.9 %
319 of 400 games finished.
Ok... let's see what will be the final results...

Stay tuned please...

I am not going to test Eman with concurrent 64
Because Eman is buggy...

E.g I will test Eman engine with concurrent 32
It seems Eman is stable with lower parallel matches
Still not recommended but ok I guess...
Well, why not recommended ?
Do you suggest to switch on older, slower machine/s ?

Btw, forget about SCCT,
Please see other available testings: CCRL, CEGT, SPCC etc.

I mean on this planet,
Mostly of the played games are with 1 core...
And nowadays many run on new machines with parallel matches..

Hope helps...

Not recommended because of what DeeDs and me have already said. Concurrency higher than 1 is not suitable for Eman. Both DeeDs and me have exposed a great amount of reasons why...

I dont suggest you to switch to an older machine, but to do the test on concurrency 1 if you are going to use Eman :)

I know most of the matches / tests are done with parallel matches, it speeds things up for sure, but for Eman it will just ruin its performance

I see what you mean

But anyhow, and once more:
Eman is one of the best even via 1 core!
Otherwise, Eman would not win my latest tours...!!

Regarding parallel matches,
Yes... it seems Eman suffers via concurrent: 64
E.g RaptoRa 2.2 is very stable under these cond.

But after all,
I hope that Mr. Khalid will fix it..
Now I am too busy.. but I will contact him later..

Greetings

So Eman is buggy with concurrency=64 but it wouldn't be with concurrency=32 ! This dude will never understand learning engines loooooool

Curious to see how many time Sedat will take to understand that its storage system does not cash 64 concurrent accesses to the Eman.exp file...

In the same row, Sedat misunderstood the English of at least 3 people, that's crazy !

Botunnet = Deeds ??

Btw, you are really very funny..!!
Do not try FOOL me again...

Rather I'd say about this issue,
You are a 'hoodwinker' master !

And once more,
I never said that Eman is able to use max 256 threads !
It is clear that you are looking for holes over my work...
But you are on wrong way...I'm much accustomed with such guys like you!
Believe me...

What I can suggest to you,
Please open your eyes, read min 7-times..then start to learn..
If you still you can not... then simply this is not my problem!

Regarding the high-quality games (produced by Eman),
Do you have any serious Eman non-online rating (played on same PC) ?
Where we can compare the real strength, I mean on same hardware ??

If you can not.. please...
