Rems Engine by Solista

Rems MPV 150824 by Solista. Rems is a small river on whose banks I live. Engine for analyses. Version with Random Op. MultiPV mode. The engine is based on SF dev and has an ultra-fast but still excellent search. The latest SF NNUE networks are used, currently "nn-9feb66a07029.nnue" is used. Features ...

Re: Fritz GUI: Engine Room soon down?

I'm not sure you can argue that. Access to PlayChess remains. How should ChessBase do it if they only want to get rid of the engine room and not everything else? Does it say anywhere in the terms and conditions that the engine room will always be accessible? Using the engine is still possible for ...

Fritz GUI: Engine Room soon down?

PlayChess Engine Room soon closed?

The decline of online computer chess. About a year ago, Infinity Chess was closed. Due to a lack of sponsors. Because the sponsor had pulled out, no more tournaments were held. As a result, hardly anyone played in the official engine room anymore. It's different ...

Deep Ripper -1-

Here is the first official version of Deep Ripper. For now, I have decided on a version that can be used for any hardware. If you only have a few cores, you should set the number of variants to 1 or 2. However, 4 variants are standard (you can set 1 to 10), which deliver very good analysis results ...

Re: Steel Fighter

Steel Fighter is an all-round engine with an extremely fast search. With Random Op. MultiPV=1 is faster than Stockfish. However, I have optimized it for Random Op. MPV=2 for quick tactical analysis and games on the Lichess server. Because of MPV=2, the computer should have 4 cores (8 threads) to be ...

Re: Steel Fighter

I don't know how you test (Hardware+Books , it would be nice if you could tell me, thanks) but the engine works well for me. You don't have to use the engine if you don't like it. The computer should have at least 4 cores, otherwise there's no point in playing Random Op. MultiPV=2 like with Steel ...

Re: Steel Fighter

The engine has a very fast search. Two variants work in parallel in the default setting. Nevertheless, the engine is almost as fast as SF dev. Anyone can test this with the starting position up to depth 35, for example.

I was surprised by the tactical strength. It is extremely good. In a short ...
