Re: Linux chess engines and guis, and wine?

SCID Linux is a very fine chess GUI you can use as a database (like ChessBase) but
also for analysing games with Linux-UCI-engines and with all other UCI-engines
provided you have installed Wine.

Re: Loading new engine into Rybka 4 w/chessbase

But I would like to add it to my Rybka 4 w/chessbase program, and I have been unable to find any info on how to do that. Seems like it should ...

Hi Ernest
As I have just tried: under Linux Ubuntu and Deep Shredder 11 GUI (with wine) it
works fine by using Crl+A and then Ctrl+V in the Shredder GUI. When using my
favourite SCID Linux 4.2.2 GUI this method does not work because there are
no standard PGN-tags available out from the game in ...

This is the current position I am watching from Alaric vs Prodeo 1.6 (game 40/40)
White's position advantage is huge yet two strong engines I am analysing with
may confirm the late Smyslov's comment, "all rook endings are drawn".

After one minutes analysis ...

Re: A French Challenge...

Hi friends!
I want to play the french in the future, OTB and in ICCF. Can anyone force me to forget the idea with a brilliant game?
Conditions: Computers are allowed, and probably necessary... And the game hasn't a time limit but sleeping is not allowed ;)
