Isn't it Simply TCEC Wonderful?

The "Super Final" on-line match between Komodo and Stockfish, is about to begin.

Congratulations to Martin, and all the crew that have worked hard to make it the best automated and on-line chess program tournament, I've ever seen. The list of features just goes on and on.

If you haven't been ...

Re: Lance Armstrong, too bad

I don't think it's so bad. Lance was a product of his time. I remember one Tour de France racer being interviewed. He wasn't a contender for the lead - middle of the peloton type. The interviewer asked him how he was doing, and did he think he would be able to move up into the lead group with the ...

Re: Author of NGplay_61 should give credit to tscp

The header file list is a very weak supporter of his assertion - but the rest of the code he posted in his assertion that NGplay_61 has code from TSCP, is quite compelling. Leaves no doubt in my mind that it drew heavily from TSCP, at some time.

Re: What is plagiarism exactly?

Take an example:

You take a mid-close-up picture of a woman's face and torso. You're not the first person to take such a picture, but it's hardly a unique concept either. No plagerism, even though you might have gotten the idea for the picture, from seeing a famous picture in art history. No ...

Impression or Info on Running Tournaments

I'm seeking info on running a ponder on tournament with Arena, on two PC's, with Arena on a third PC. Before I get started with this venture, I thought I'd better learn what the experts thought, and what general CC fans would like to have in such a tournament.

I'd like to include a division for ...

Re: Rybka 5 Beta by HuRrIcAneFoRcCe in POGO chess site.

Frankly, speculation on these things is just gossip.

Reminds me of a Senator (a former Marine no less) crying as he gave a speech in the Senate, about the "murdering marines" in an Iraqi "massacre". Of course, several other national political leaders have to chime in with their condemnation, as ...
