I am almost sure It is winning for black.
Kd1 Te8 Te1 (only move) Db6 and White looses AT LEAST pawn f2 without solving its problems.
For example: Dd4 Lc5 Dg4 h5 Df5 Lxf2 Te5 Lg3 Txe8 Txe8 c3 g6 Dd5 le2+ -+
or: Se5 Dxf2 a4 Lf6 Df3 Dxe1 -+
By the way, much better than to just run an engine and ...

Re: Houdini 2
The save/load hash feature as depicted for Houdini 2 seems very much inferior to other "learning" methods such as Shredder's position learning, Rybka 3 Persisntent Hash (without the bugs) or Private Critter, in where the user doesn't need to invoke a save command every time he unloads the engine ...

Re: Any news about Fire 1.4?
Hi Dr. Deeb,
create a personality, which is dominant also at shorter time controls (like 4+4). For me it is very hard to believe that an Engine is MUCH better than Rybka4 at longer time controls, but worse at shorter.

Re: Dr. Deeb´s FireBird settings
Hi Dr. Deeb,
maybe Pawn Hash should indeed be assigned relatively to Hash as kingliveson suggests. I asked gaard in this treat
http://www.open-chess.org/viewtopic.php ... 5062#p5062
to make his test of your Firebird again, but with PawnHash=1/8 * Hash.

Re: New Rating List
Hi gaard,
can you make the same test with Firebird DD, but using PawnHash = 1/8 * Hash? (If you use Hash=512MB, you have already done the test.) In another treat it was explained that the PawnHash should be assigned relatively to Hash.

Re: New Rating List
Hi gaard,
it would be interesting if you test Dr. Deeb's Firebird 1.1, see here http://www.open-chess.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=541#p4876
In Dr. Deeb's list it is more than 100ELO better than all other engines. I have my doubts, but since the differences are so big it would be worth to test this ...
