Re: David Levy responds to Chessbase's response to ICGA verd

Sure didn’t live up to the explosive hype forecast by some. In spite of the obvious attempts to inflate the issue and inject innuendo, Dr. Levy remained clear and direct.
My impression about the latest series of questions is that they quickly became ragged and the answers were solid enough to deny ...

Re: Not So Deep Matrix

I seriously doubt that.

It's quite clear future cloners that would have committed that mistake will no longer do it after reading your message.

This deterrent is gone .
If it is kept secret, it is not much of a deterrent.

You're right. But for deterrence, KLO could simply have posted: The ...

We might have told you what you needed to know, the trouble is that you only heard what you wanted to hear.

Re: ChessBase: A Gross Miscarriage of Justice in Computer Ch

Shouldnt the main requirement been to have programmers on the panel? Not SOME not partially but entirely composed of experts and programmers of equal level not 1 or 2 that could sway the group. The problem with 1 expert and 10 amateurs would be that the 1 experts opinion could sway the others ...

Re: Censorship on the Rybka forum

Which posts have been moderated in the last year?

And which posts have been moderated on Rybka Forum since the Felix era finished?

Just:

One where bob made an insult and it was deleted.
One where bob told someone else that if he was him he'd commit suicide, and it was deleted.
One in where you ...

Re: Censorship on the Rybka forum

Not surprising. This thread has been edited, such that my explanation of Ed's misleading data is no longer available. Since plenty of insults remain, I don't believe that's the reason.

The entire thing was removed, according to TheHug, "a moderator" removed it for insults. While I agree that my ...

Re: Computer Chess Biggest Liar

I've read all that has been wrote. As a outsider to chess programming my gut tells me that Robert is a honest guy. If all thats been wrote up above is true then the only thing that makes sense to me is that Robert H is the true author of Robbolito. This makes sense then to me in that the program is ...

Re: The Rybka Forum engine (drug) cartels react against fact

Alright, it's hard to not take good advice from you, so I've added bob to my ignore list.

Also turbo, I'd like you to know that most of the real discussion is currently happening on OpenChess, with people that know more what they're talking about than bob, I encourage you to go there and expose ...

Re: Thoughts on Fruit=Rybka EVAL

Alright then, let's keep it simple. Same question for you as to Zach in Rybka forum.

1. Do you totally reject Miguel's PST experiments? Is it all bull, or is there some truth in it?

However, with the Fruit 2.1 code sitting in front of us, it seems rather unnatural to speculate about ...
