Thanks aart. Nice job. Can anybody tell the elo difference between say droidfish (stochfish 2.1) on a 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon, and stockfish on say i7-2600 (no overclocking)?

Yeah, it seems Houdini is doing fine. Yet, opening the source is the best way to leave something to computer chess. When in the future other engines will be stronger than houdini, it will be forgotten if sources are closed. Things change if Houdini goes commercial. I think that it is very difficult ...

Thanks. I can see it back now. I guess it has been down, since I have tried to access it a few times in the last days (I am not aware of any restrictions on my ISP, and in any case it works now).

WelI, I was wondering what's the future of Houdini.
Actually, it seems unlikely it can go commercial ...

I have 3-4-5 gaviota TBs. While running Houdini 1.5ax64 in Arena, the following position
8/8/8/3k4/4NK2/5p2/5N2/8 w - - 9 68
is not recognized as "tablebased". This is a bit weird, since all connected positions are properly recognized (as present in tablebase), and gaviota TBs have always worked ...
